1) Built Quality of Oneplus 5T

No words to express, Its simple outstanding, it comes with smooth Anodized Aluminum unibody finish and is protected with  2.5Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front along with a huge camera lens. OnePlus 5 buttons are easier to use when the phone is being held by the left hand.

2) Oneplus 5T display

The display is also very attractive with 18:9 aspect ratio and installed with Full HD optic AMOLED screen. Viewing angles, sunlight visibility is much better.  It has 1080 x 2160 pixels and 401 pixels per inch. It has 80 percent screen to body ratio.

3) RAM management in oneplus 5t

It comes in 2 variants, one is 6GB RAM with 64GB and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. However, both these vareints works so satisfactory in managing Apps.  Even it doesn’t reload keeping 6 to 7 high graphical games in RAM memory. By this, you can imagine how better it manages many high graphical games.

4) USB OTG functionality

By using UTG cable we can access files, videos, photos and other documents from Hard drives and pen drives directly to our phones.

When you connect OTG to Oneplus 5T, before accessing files you need to enable it from Settings>Advanced>OTG Storage to ON mode. After enabling it, you can view files from your hard disk or pen drive. Oneplus 5t also supports Keyboard as well mouse and UTG functionality gets disabled when you don’t use it for more than 5 minutes.

5) Face lock speed in Oneplus 5T

According to OnePlus, Face Unlock uses more than 100 unique identifiers to unlock the OnePlus 5T, and it reads them using the phone’s standard front-facing camera. OnePlus knows that it’s sacrificing security for speed, however, and it positions Face Unlock as a convenience feature rather than a security feature. OnePlus themselves claiming it to be imperfect. This is why the OnePlus 5T still comes with a fingerprint scanner.

As Face unlocks on OnePlus 5T works with the front-facing camera itself so in low-light conditions Face Unlock struggles heavily to function.

6) Softwares

OnePlus 5T comes with the latest software Oxygen OS 4.7.4 and Android version 7.1.1.  The user interface is very handy and smooth operating. It receives latest updates very soon regarding bug-fixes and if any other problems are detected, then company soon releases updates to fix them. It also comes with inbuilt video calling support and automatic call recorder software.

7) Oneplus 5t Audio quality

After removal of head-jack from Apple devices, many of the phone manufacturers also followed the same. But OnePlus phones still comes with 3.5mm jack. Speaker is located at bottom of the phone and it much louder than the previous phones and it has 3 microphones with noise cancellation.

8) Camera

OnePlus 5T carries a similar 16MP+20MP dual camera combination like the OnePlus 5, but this time around, OnePlus has switched the sensor in the telephoto lens. The smartphone now comes with a 20MP lens with Sony IMX376K sensor instead of SonyIMX350 found on the OnePlus 5. The dual cameras have f/1.7 aperture and the secondary camera will now be able to take better low-light shots and we can digital zoom up to 2x without missing clarity. Dynamic range, HDR, colour reproduction is very impressive.

We can record 4K videos with Electronic Image stabilization with back camera and with front camera you can record 1080P videos with EIS.

  • You will get screen guard and case when along with the box

1) Face ID features.

Though face unlock slightly faster than iPhone x, but it can’t be used for download apps and payments whereas iPhone x Face ID used for payments, book tickets and many more.

2) Micro SD card slot.

There is no Micro-SD card slot which will won’t be more comfortable for people record 4k videos, for them they need to upgrade to 128GB varient which is slightly costlier.

3) Speaker Placement

While playing games in landscape mode, the finger will overlap on the speaker which results in bad quality. If they would shitft the speaker slighlty away from holding postion then would be much better.

4) Slow-motion video quality:

Slow-motion video quality is limited to 720P which could be increased to 1080P. With the front-facing camera you can perfectly take selfies but while recording videos due to EIS you won’t get wide angle by this your face appears very close to the camera, and you can’t switch of EIS to get a wide angle.

5) USB Port

It comes with old USB 2.0 which will be problematic for transferring files as lack of transferring speed. If it is upgraded to USB3.0 then you may get much speeder file transfer.
